New Zealand Chinese Association Annual Conference

Purpose

The NZCA holds an Annual General Meeting (called "the Conference") annually in June.  The main purpose of the Conference is to:

  • Receive reports from the President and the Executive Committee on the previous year's activities
  • Elect Executive Officers for the ensuring year
  • Debate remits submitted by Branches
  • Interchange information and ideas and to discuss the future direction of the NZCA.

Each branch is usually represented at the Conference by members of their Branch  Executive Committee  and as many other delegates from their branch as they wish.  The objective is to have as wide a representation as is possible of all branches so that the views expressed at Conference do represent the views of the branch members and the Association as a whole.
