USEFUL INFORMATION
DAYLIGHT SAVINGS ENDS
A reminder that daylight savings will finish at 3am on Sunday 4th April when clocks go back ONE hour the Easter weekend where 3am becomes 2am.
SKATEBOARD PARK
For those who are keen skateboarders, there is a skateboard park in front of the arena if you're keen to bring your board with you. Please note that this area will not be overseen in any official capacity by the Tournament organising committee.
FOOD AVAILABILITY @ VENUES
We have had a number of queries around food availability at the main venue; we are able to advise that the on-site café at Te Rauparaha Arena will be open for business over the weekend. The tournament venues based in Porirua are surrounded by a number of food outlets including Burger King, KFC, Subway, McDonalds and there is a food court located at the North City Plaza Shopping Centre that's about 3 mins drive from the Arena. Countdown supermarket is located 5 mins walk from the Arena also.
POOL PASSES
There is an aquatic centre onsite at Te Rauparaha Arena - and the organising committee have negotiated a family day pass for those who are keen to spend time in the pools.
Please advise your contingent co-ordinator if you require passes for use over the weekend.
Tournament day pass price $12.50 for 2 adults 3 children (normal price $16.50)
TOURNAMENT BASE CAMP
With 14 sport venues this year, the official tournament base camp will be at Te Rauparaha Arena. Here you will be able to get tournament information, view draws and results, ask for directions, leave / find lost property, buy dance packages, magazines, get a bandaid etc.
